Board Member Recruitment Dinner

Each year APACC actively seeks out to recruit talented and dedicated individuals in and around San Francisco willing to help our most vulnerable population. Help could come in various forms: direct financial contribution, volunteer their time and expertise, or connect APACC with potential supporters. This year, we are fortunate that television celebrity and Master Chef Martin Yan has decided to join as a  board member. He will share his story as an immigrant to our clients, his struggles to learn and mastering his new language while attending college at UC Davis. He overcame many obstacles before finding his success as a television celebrity chef. We want to show our clients that: “If a man with limited resources and limited command of English language can do it, so can they!”
